Jesus holds children very close to His heart, and we at Eastern Heights do, too! With God’s Word as our highest priority, we have designed the Children’s Ministry (age Pre-K through grade 5) in such a way that kids can learn at their own level and pace.
We realize that families and children need the church and the love and support of the family of God. Everyone involved in our children's ministry strives to help children feel welcomed in the family of faith and to feel that they are a significant and important part of God's plan. Our job, in part, is to show them God in our lives, and to be ready to answer their questions about becoming a Christian when God's Spirit begins to work in their lives.
Our mission is to make disciples by creating a fun, loving, and interactive environment where kids are encouraged to grow in Christ. In order to do this, we provide an age-appropriate and Bible-based curriculum through AWANA. We pray that your child’s biblical adventure here lays a foundation for a lifetime of living for Christ!

Children's Ministry at Eastern Heights - Age Pre-K through Grade 5
AWANA Club meetings are jam-packed with life-changing experiences. The club is run by trained leaders with a love for the Lord Jesus Christ and a desire to help children. The club materials are filled with verses from the Bible and guidelines to help kids memorize and understand them.
AWANA teaches kids that God is real, that He loves them, and that He has expressed that love through Jesus Christ. Kids also learn how God can help them in their daily lives. Lessons from the Bible teach them how to honor God in a sinful world.
The goal of AWANA is to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. This is the end result, but the method is fun! It is a proven way for churches to train leadership and bring the message of salvation to their communities.
