Today's congregation is making tomorrow's history. It is our desire to leave behind a well-worn pathway of obedience and faithfulness to the call of God to be His people in this community. Our prayer is that future generations of Christians will find us faithful to that commission.

From it's humble beginnings in 1965, the Eastern Heights family has continued to grow. Hundreds of lives have been positively touched by God through the church and it's members, and for this we are grateful. God has richly blessed us with the need for expansion, as our adult and children's classrooms, youth building and Fellowship Hall are filled to capacity each week. In order to respond to this blessing by being able to welcome those who come in the future, we must provide additional space.
The Family Life Center building project is nearing completion, due to sacrifical commitments of offerings and labor by our church family. God lead First Baptist Church, Barnwell, SC to select our construction site as the place to serve through their Construction Mission Trip in July, 2007. After many hours of labor and fellowship, lasting friendships were established.
