Young people need guidance and help in living the Christ-like life. Our Student Ministry provides teaching to equip our youth for Christian living in an enviroment where they feel welcomed, loved and accepted. Through media teaching programs such as the FUEL curriculum on Sunday mornings, students in grade 6-12 are exposed to contemporary and relevant Bible teaching. The CORE on Sunday nights from 5:30-6:15 is an in-depth verse-by-verse Bible study where students are encouraged to dig deeper and ask questions and make observations about what the Bible teaches and how they can use those lessons in their everyday life.
The Zone is the Wednesday night Youth Worship of the Student Ministry at Eastern Heights for grades 9-12. Students meet at 6:00pm for worship with The Zone Band and teaching from Minister to Students, Dan Pratt in the 'Family Life Center' located directly behind the church on Cawana Rd. Uturn, for students in grade 6-8, also meets in the Family Life Center at 6:15, led by Joanna Kimes and the Uturn Band.
